Never too late

Marie, a local face and figure in the waves of Estero Bay.IMG_9022

She was my first surfing subject to photograph. I must have sent her a hundred photos, some good, a lot bad. She loved them all and let me know it.IMG_9305

She did not learn to surf until later, forty to be exact. Today, looking great! Taking waves and taking names.IMG_9623

Here she is riding her 9ft 2in Scott Anderson board, the “Farberow” model.IMG_8964

Marie is a dietitian doing palliative care at nearby French Hospital.IMG_0425
