Gone surfing’ somewhere

June 28, 2019

The surfing season with its decent swells and less summer fog is still a couple months away. However, I did photograph the Santa Cruz Longboard event on Memorial Weekend and it was great!

Last weekend, I attended a paddle-out for a young surfer girl who I have known and photographed for the last five years. It was a devastating loss for her parents and friends so full of life and only 26 years old. She appeared many times in previous postings. I will truly miss her. I will see you in the surf Sydney Rudy. Rest in peace.

Keep a leash on it, Bob

Item: I’ll put together a collection of my Santa Cruz Longboard photos in the next post.

Thank u Bob for coming to Sydney’s paddle out. She often talked about you & shared your great pictures with me, friends & family. She possessed & shared the most beautiful, energetic, loving light. A light that lifted, loved & smiled upon every soul that crossed her path. She is still here, all around us. Just gaze at the ocean, touch a tree, taste the air or listen to the breeze & she is there, Everywhere! May her light always shine on your life, Today, Tomorrow & Forever,
